Citrine and Smoky Quartz Silver Earrings - Long hook earrings in an organic design by Banyan Jewellery, set with a teardrop shaped faceted Smoky Quartz and a circular faceted Citrine, with a gold plated, silver, strand which flows from the ear hook to the top of the smoky quartz stone   

Smoky quartz is the national gem of Scotland and  is said to have been sacred to the Druids. Citrine comes from the French word, citron, meaning lemon, from its colour. It was used in Greek and Roman jewellery. Smoky Quartz and Citrine are the birthstones for November.
