Hand Painted Silk Cotton Scarf Red Black  - A large hand painted, colourful fair trade, scarf is a soft blend of silk and cotton.

The principal colours of the scarf are red and black, with a purple, light blue, brown and white overlaid design.

These scarves are produced by a small number of select artisans in Thailand.

The leader and instructor of this group was a well respected fashion design teacher in Bangkok for many years who has now returned to work in his home town in Northern Thailand.

Here, working from his studio, he has created over 120 original designs and continuously develops new products and designs.

Being hand painted, the individual designs are repeated rather than duplicated, the same design is painted two at a time.
